Miranda (Former Purrin' Cat) Update from Linda

I think this picture of the 4 cats is PRICELESS!

Miranda is still fearless. She doesn't start anything, but won't back down either, even if it's one of the dogs!
Here are some pictures (please excuse the catnip oll over the floor). I think someone ripped open a toy. I don't know why the coloring looks so brown??
I wish I could have gotten Spot (Smokey) in the "gray squad" picture, but she is still the loner.

Tripod (Russian Blue) With a Sad Story & a Happy Ending.

WCB #78 is being hosted this Weekend by D and Boots and Tess at The Hidden Paw in Ithaca, New York. Be sure to check out the entire round up at http://forthejunta.blogspot.com/2006/11/weekend-cat-blogging-78-i-think.html. Thank you, D, Boots & Tess, for hosting.

UPDATE: Tripod was adopted today, Sat., Dec. 2, 2006, by a very good family, and now Tripod has found his Happy Ending.

Dear Santa Claus,

I had a very bad accident this year, and I lost my front right leg. The nice people at the CASPCA saved me even though my leg had to be amputated.
Although I had this terrible accident, I have been a very good kitty this year. I have even been called a little angel! I know you will find my name on your "nice" list. I am really good at getting along with the other kitties, love to kneed and purr and I always use my litter box.

What I would like the very most this year for Christmas is to be ADOPTED INTO A GOOD AND LOVING HOME!

And, if it's not too much trouble, Dear Santa Claus, I'd also appreciate the following: a new blanket, Fancy Feast canned food,$$$ help to pay my big doctor bill, Kitty play toys, and a Cardboard Super Scratcher for my claws.

Your friend,
Tripod

P.S. Santa, please be sure to stop at Purrin' at Pantops Cat Adoption Center before you leave Charlottesville so all the other homeless shelter cats will have their wishes come true as well.

When I come back the next time, I want to be one of Linda's lucky pets.

Thank you, Linda, for all your help with our Purrin' cats.

Here is Smokey, our former Purrin' cat, now Spot, living the good life!

Smokey, our former Purrin' kitty, is now Spot.

From the Adoptive Mommy: She is still a little stand offish, prefers to be alone, but it is getting better. If none of the others are around, she will come over to be petted maybe even let me pick her up for a few seconds. She will still hiss to say she has had enough, but no claws or teeth. She is the smallest in the house, but she can be tuff if need be. See a few shots attached.

Relaxing After Dinner.
Sitting Pretty.

Cool Hunter.

Thank you, Linda.

Former Purrin' Cat Miss Ellie is Now Alexis

See how our former Purrin' kitty, Miss Ellie, who is now Alexis, is doing now. I think she is living the Good Life!

From The Adoptive Mommy: And the czarina she is too...and a bully. Chases everyone around intimadates my 67 lb husky. She is one tuff cookie, but she has a softer side, likes to cuddle and sleeps right against me every night. Enjoys sunning herself on the deck, but prefers to stay inside unless I am out side. BTW did you know she is a drooler when you pet her?

Here is Alexis:

The mad Russian.
Yummy.
