True story, bird food and critter food at Food Lion.

Funny true story, I put up a bird feeder-house window. All pretty birds came. Then the squirrel came up the window and knocked down the bird food. Every day. I gave up. The birds came to the door chirping for food. I bought some critter food at Food Lion for the squirrels put it by the tree & the deck. The blue jays like the critter food, no more squirrel problem, and the birds are happy. Seems they don't like corn.

Thank you to webshot member for this and all her other incredible photos of blue jays. This is the link:

Food Lion Brand Super Sale!

NOW UNTIL JUNE 23, 2009 at Food Lion

Buy the Food Lion brand cat food (the cans are on sale for .35 cents) and if you buy at least 4 or up to 40 cans, you will get a coupon for up to $10.00 for your next visit. You have to purchase the 40 cans at one time to get the $10.00 coupon.

I have received $14.50 so far and use this to feed my hungry outdoor cats, and they love this food, especially the tuna, mixed grill, and seafood kinds.

It is only .10 cents a can this way.
Don't forget the dogs. If you want to donate to The CASPCA for people who foster cats and dogs or to Voices for Animals, they would appreciate your kindness.
You can even buy the dry food or anything that is the Food Lion Brand.
Use your Personal MVP Card.
Purchase a minimum of 4 (maximum of 40) Food Lion Brand Products in one shopping visit. (All Food Lion Brand items are eligible except fresh meat, produce and random weight Deli/Bakery items.)
Receive up to $10 in Food Lion Coupons at checkout. Coupons are redeemable on your next shopping order. (Coupons expire 2 weeks from date of issuance.)
