Happy Birthday Mother Helen
Today, we celebrate Dan's mother's birthday. She is 80 years old. We look forward to having Helen visit with us next week. She is a wonderful mother who had 9 terrific children. She did a great job raising all her children. I, as a daughter-in-law, appreciate her and her son, Dan. I can never repay mom for the tremendous way he was brought up with love, a religious belief, and respect for women and all life. I know his strong work ethic comes from having been taught how to earn his way in life and having not been spoiled as a child. Dan who was the oldest child of 9 was taught how to help with all the family responsibilities. It is so easy for parents not to discipline their children. It is so easy to give in and just let them have what they want. The hard part of being a parent is not to give in and to teach them right from wrong. Thank you, mom, for doing just that with all of your children.
